Just completed the first: car towing, intake manifold gasket replaced, cooling system overhauled, suspension overhauled, roof not-leaking, trans-state RV break-in cruise without a hitch - no pun intended... The crew? Myself, Amanda, Manny, Sunny (dog) and George (lizard). Destination? Oklahoma... What, have you been to Oklahoma? Lots and lots of fields, rolling fields, flat fields, brown fields and green fields. We went to the Museum of Natural History in Norman, OK. We went to the Route 66 Museum in Clinton, OK.
We tried to see the Cheyenne Cultural Center, but it was closed because the owner had had a heart attack - but we did find the "oldest" Indian store in OK according to the owner. It was very cool, but more like a museum than a store. We stayed at Lake Arrowhead SP, Fort Cobb SP and Mitchel's RV Park and Resort (with the leashless dog park!!). Discovered that we can stay overnight for free at the Indian Casino's and that Fort Richardson with the battle reenactments are worth a return!
